Burbio, Inc. ("Burbio," "we," "us," or "our") provides data, analytics, market intelligence, and related services to businesses and other organizations serving the U.S. PreK-12 education market. This Privacy Policy describes how Burbio collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information in connection with our website, products, applications, APIs, Model Context Protocol ("MCP") services, communications, and other services (collectively, the "Services").

Burbio is a business-to-business service. Access to Burbio's customer Services is provided to authorized users of Burbio customers and is not available for public registration.

**1. Information We Collect**

**Customer and User Information**

For users authorized to access Burbio's Services, we collect limited business information, including:

- Business email address;
- Organization name;
- Name, if provided by the user; and
- Information about use of the Services, including login timestamps and product activity.

Burbio does not collect IP addresses or browser or device information in connection with access to the customer application. Burbio does not receive or store customer passwords. Authentication is provided through third-party identity and application providers.

We may also receive information that customers provide to us in connection with configuring, integrating, supporting, or using our Services. This may include employee names and business email addresses, district or account lists used to configure territories or filters, API credentials or tokens, and information provided through customer support or other communications.

**MCP and Service Usage**

Burbio may collect and retain prompts and questions submitted by customers through Burbio's MCP services. We use this information to understand how customers use the Services and to improve Burbio's products and functionality.

Prompts and questions submitted through Burbio's MCP services may be processed by third-party artificial intelligence model providers on Burbio's behalf. These providers do not use Burbio customer data to train their own models.

Burbio may also collect information about use of other features within the Services for the purpose of operating, supporting, and improving the Services. We do not use individual customer activity to target advertising or marketing to that user.

**Website Visitors and Business Inquiries**

When an individual contacts Burbio, requests information or a demonstration, or submits a form through our public website, we may collect information such as:

- Name;
- Business email address;
- Organization or company;
- Job title;
- Business telephone number; and
- Information included in the individual's communication or request.

Our public website uses technology to help us understand website activity and manage business relationships. Burbio does not use advertising pixels or retargeting technologies.

The public Burbio website is separate from the private applications through which customers access Burbio's data and Services.

**Prospective Customers and Business Contacts**

Burbio may collect professional and business contact information about prospective customers from publicly available sources, referrals, conferences and events, third-party business information providers, and individuals who contact Burbio directly.

This information may include name, company, job title, business email address, business telephone number, and information regarding business interactions with Burbio. Third-party business information providers may also provide business or professional interest or intent information.

Burbio uses this information for business development, sales, marketing, and relationship management. Burbio does not seek to collect personal or home contact information for these purposes.

**Newsletters and Marketing Communications**

Burbio maintains business contact information for recipients of the Burbio School Tracker and other newsletters, product communications, and business marketing. We may collect information about engagement with those communications, such as email opens and clicks.

Every Burbio marketing email provides an opportunity to unsubscribe. When a recipient unsubscribes, we may retain the recipient's email address on a suppression list to prevent future marketing communications.

**Meetings and Communications**

Burbio may retain business communications with customers and prospective customers, including support requests and other correspondence.

Burbio may also record or transcribe customer and prospect calls, demonstrations, or meetings. Participants are notified through the applicable meeting platform when recording or transcription is occurring. Recordings and transcripts are used for internal business purposes.

**Events and Social Media**

Burbio may receive business contact information through conferences, webinars, events, referrals, event organizers, and interactions with Burbio's social media accounts. We use this information for ordinary business communications, marketing, sales, and relationship management.

**Applicant Information**

Burbio may receive limited information from individuals who contact us regarding employment opportunities or whose resumes are reviewed by Burbio. We use this information for recruiting and employment-related purposes.

Customer-provided information that is no longer reasonably necessary to provide the Services may be deleted or deactivated in accordance with Burbio's business practices, contractual obligations, and applicable law.

Burbio maintains system backups covering the prior 14 days. Information deleted from active systems may therefore remain temporarily in backups until the applicable backup cycles out.

Burbio may also retain limited information necessary to honor unsubscribe requests and prevent future marketing communications.

**8. Information Security**

Burbio maintains administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Burbio maintains formal Access Control and Information Security policies. Access to customer information and Burbio systems is limited to authorized employees and contractors based on their responsibilities. Employees and contractors with access to such information are subject to confidentiality obligations.
